The lack of silica slows down the natural production of collagen in our body as we age. This leads to a reduction of about 1% in the amount of collagen in our skin after 21 years of age. This would also result in thickness reduction and elasticity loss, which is directly related to the wrinkles depth(2)(3).
Kekurangan silika melambatkan penghasilan kolagen semula jadi dalam badan kita seiring dengan peningkatan usia. Ini menyebabkan pengurangan kira-kira 1% dalam jumlah kolagen dalam kulit kita selepas 21 tahun.
